Salli didn’t take up painting until she retired 14 years ago and embarked on a year long Botanical Illustration course at the Eden Project. Her work features in Contemporary Botanical Illustration and Natural History Painting with the Eden Project.

Attendance at further workshops developed her interest in painting shells, crabs and fish as well as developing skills in using acrylics and coloured pencils. Salli organises an Art and Craft Pop-Up Shop during the summer in the village of Crantock where she lives, where 8 art and crafters display their work. She also runs an Art Club in the village for members to develop their skills at their own pace..
