ARTIST BIO

This beautiful churn has been painted by Nina Worrall.
Nina is a wildlife & pet portrait artist working from her studio nr. Newquay in Cornwall. Her fascination and passion for wildlife started at an early age growing up in a small Oxfordshire village spending most of her days in the woods sketching the birds and animals. Nina moved to Cornwall 26 years ago and has been an active member of the Newquay Art Society exhibiting 3 times a year. Many of her paintings and slates are hanging in homes all over the world including South Africa and America. /

Over the years she has also used her art to raise money for local animal charities, she designed a Christmas card for St Petroc’s Society to help raise funds for the dogs of the homeless and also a card for the Flicka Donkey Sanctuary and many other projects.

Nina specialises in unique wildlife & pet portraits in pastel on velour paper, acrylics and alkyd oils. Nina also loves to paint wildlife on slate and offers house signs in acrylic on reclaimed Cornish slate which she finds is excellent to work on as the weathered grain enhances the finished painting, the slates are then covered with a layer of resin so they can be enjoyed inside or out for years to come.
